Technology Transfer

  • Established, trademarked, and filed two patents for several informatic tools and database search modes within a software suite called ProSight PTM.  It streamlines the identification and characterization of intact proteins and protein-based biomarkers based based on a sequenced genome or putative primary sequence. (https://prosightptm.scs.uiuc.edu) The web-based version of ProSight PTM now has ~200 external users (June, 2005).
